Re: Blunderland (Mr. Lock)
Lock also stayed quiet, he was thinking about Abby's friend. She seemed to be an expert on vampires, maybe she knew something about a cure. With any luck her friendships mattered more to her than her hatred for vampires.

Re: Blunderland (Mr. Lock)
It was'nt long till Abby fell asleep. Now that she was nocturnal the sun made her sleepy. She did'nt even notice when the phone was ringing. It was Marie.
Re: Blunderland (Mr. Lock)
Lock reached down and picked up the phone, it would be rude to leave it unanswered, but it may also be rude to answer it. He weighed his options and decided to take a message.
"Hello, Abby cant come to the phone right now but I can take a message on her behalf if you would like..."

Re: Blunderland (Mr. Lock)
"Who's this? Is this a bloody vampire," the girl on the other line growled. She was afraid that vampire's were taking over her friends life now as well.
Re: Blunderland (Mr. Lock)
"A vampire? now that is a sad irony, no I am not a vampire. My name is Mr Lock, and I am an..." he paused, what was he to her? "...aquaintence of Abby's, would you happen to be her vampire expert friend? If so there is a lot for you and her to disscuss when she wakes up"

Re: Blunderland (Mr. Lock)
"There is nothing me and her need to discuss. She knows she needs to terminate herself in a week before she becomes a fully strong-willed and powerful vampire. If not by then I must come and kill her myself. Her parents would not be happy I warned her about being out there alone. She did not listen so she must pay the consequenses." With that Marie hung up.
Abby stirred in her sleep whimpering in apin, Not knowing what was happening in the wakeing world.

Re: Blunderland (Mr. Lock)
Cruelty was obviously a second nature to this girl. That and she obviously didnt know that vampires didnt have to succumb to their instincts if they had a strong enough will, he knew that from first hand experience with some of his acquaintances.
Lock knew that he couldnt and shouldnt hide this from Abby. He sighed heavily. This was going to set back the progress he had made by a long stretch. People these days didn’t know the meaning of friendship.

Re: Blunderland (Mr. Lock)
After a few hours abby woke up. She noticed Vincent looked a bit upset and worried and looked at him confused. "What's wrong?" she asked resting a hand on his shoulder so he would know she was awake.
Re: Blunderland (Mr. Lock)
"You dont want to know, its not good news" He looked over to her, trying to hide his concern but his eyes betrayed him.
Abby just stared at him, he understood from that simple action and told her.
"Your friend rang while you were asleep, and shes not the friend I imagined her to be. I guess she had put together the pieces and knows that youre a vampire, shes not too happy about that" he paused "We need to leave this place and find somewhere safe to search for a cure"

Re: Blunderland (Mr. Lock)
"No if she wants to kill me let her... and truth is she's not my friend... she's really my sister... she told me to leave this place when our parents died but i couldnt seem to let go. So this is my fault." abby whispered.
Re: Blunderland (Mr. Lock)
"Why are you convinced that your life is worthless? Sister or not she has no right to end your life" He realised he was lecturing her "Im sorry Abby, I shouldnt force my morality on you, if you truely wish to die I suppose there isnt much I can do to stop it"

"Well I've been expecting you to be annoyed with me about dying for awhile now," she said trying to smile.
Re: Blunderland (Mr. Lock)
"Thats an understatement" he said, smiling in return.

(ahahahahaha)
Aby giggled. "I guess so," she said sighing still a bit tired.

"You sleep, we can decide what to do when you wake up. Ill have food ready by then anyway" He smiled at her and pulled a blanket over her and then walked out to the kitchen to face the horrors of cooking. Not his strongest talent.

Re: Blunderland (Mr. Lock)
"Yeah pretty much" He gave an embarrassed smile "Care to give me some pointers?" he said hopefully

"In all honesty, I am as helpless as you in this skill," Abby said giggling. "I'm a microwave queen though," she said sliding a bowl of ramen noodles in the microwave. She saw Vincent give her a funny look and she could'nt help but start laughing. "I'm sorry I can't cook!"
Re: Blunderland (Mr. Lock)
"And you got my hopes up and everything" he said with a cross face, although the effect was spoiled somewhat by his beaming smile.
"Well then ‘o queen of microwaves’ we shall feast on the fine delicacies of ramen" while he said this he pulled two forks out of the drawer and washed them in the sink “See? Im not completely useless after all” showing a cheeky grin

Re: Blunderland (Mr. Lock)
"Good cuz' I can't do that either," she laughed. "All I really was good at was..." she trailed off. what was she suppose to say. She was only good at killing vampires? Now she was one and Marie was coming for her to kill her... Could she even eat Ramen noodles anymore? Will she only like blood now? Her smile faded and she just pulled the Ramen noodles out of the microwave. "Sorry I could'nt be better," she mumbled. "i'm only good at one thing, and it's not the funnest..."
Re: Blunderland (Mr. Lock)
"Dont get so down, for the longest time I myself knew only vengeance and how to punish those I considered responsible for my pain. Its not something I care to remember so if you would do me the curtesy of refraining from asking I would be grateful"
He nodded his thanks as she handed him his share in a bowl
"Time is a great healer, you learn to be a better being given enough of it"

Re: Blunderland (Mr. Lock)
"One day is it possible you could tell me? Maybe one day I could tell you the full truth about me." Abby never lied to Vincent but she also did'nt tell him everything about her. There was still some scary stuff that she never spoke of like the coffins in the basement. She was thank-full that Vincent never asked why they were there.
Re: Blunderland (Mr. Lock)
"Ill consider it, now eat up and cheer up. The noodles are good" he said this with a smile, if she was determined to let her sister kill her then she probably wouldnt survive long enough for him to tell her his story so he was hoping to make her final days fun.

Re: Blunderland (Mr. Lock)
Abby giggled. "It was impossible to ruin them.. I mean it was microwave style." Abby sighed. She hoped her sister would'nt show up anytime soon. But who knew Marie could be here now and she would'nt even know it.
