Blunderland (Mr. Lock)

Abby walked through the woods with her sword in hand she was afraid some kind of animal would jump out and attack her. She literally jumped when she saw a boy.

(sorry it was a quickie)

[Mr. Lock]

The boy called Lock also jumped, he hadnt expected to see anyone in this forest, he had thought it was deserted. He quickly composed himself and apologised, after doing so he walking briskly in the other direction and promptly tripped on a tree root. He got to his feet, obviously flustered, apologised again and continued his walk.
Abby was intrigued and followed, what an odd boy.

She giggled and followed him. "No I'm sorry... I should'nt be hunting in these woods."

[Mr. Lock]

"Hunting eh?" his normal cold attitude towards others was discarded, this was too interesting to be ignored "not many people hunt with a sword, especially in a wood filled with... well... nothing really, I havent found a single trace of animal presence here, which leads me to wonder" he stopped walking and turned towards her "what is it exactly you are hunting?"

Abby was taken aback. Dammit he was figuring her out! She backed away lil bit. About ready to run. The truth was she was an assasain and she had just killed a clan of vampires and had buried them. This boy's eyes are red.. what if he was one he looked stronger...
Oh shyt...Abby thought as she started to run.

[Mr. Lock]

"Wait!"
Lock called after her and began to run to catch up
After ten minutes Abby turned around and couldnt see the boy anywhere, good she had left him in her dust
"So are you done running now?"
The boy was sitting on a rock not too far away
"I only want to talk, youve sparked my curiosity"

Abby looked at him angrily. "So tell me are you a vampire!" she snapped ripping out her sword angrily.

[Mr. Lock]

"not now or ever" he said nonchalantly, not paying her sword the slightest attention. Instead he looked her steadily in the eyes.
He wasnt going to provoke her into a fight, but he was willing to defend himself if she started one, while he was displaying a clam exterior he was mentally preparing to draw his knife.

Abby backed away a little frightened. if he was'nt a vampire then what was he? "What the hell are you" she demanded.

[Mr. Lock]

"oh Ive been called a few things in my time. Ill tell you what, when I find out Ill let you know" He stood up from the rock and took a few steps towards her "So I answered one of your questions, its only fair that you answer mine, though ive already guessed it. Youre hunting vampires arnt you?"

Abby was frightened. She started to run. Who ever this was... he was more powerful than a vampire. And if he wanted to he could kill her in a instant he could kill her.

[Mr. Lock]

He sighed, it was always his eyes that had this effect on people. "Hey wait up!"
but she was already too far away, he would just have to follow her and wait till she cooled off enough to talk reasonably.

Abby spun around more paranoid then ever. She kept her sword drawn ready for a fight. But when she saw the boy her defenses kicked in and she threw a punch.

[Mr. Lock]

He steeped neatly to one side "nice punch, but keep your other arm tucked in a little more or you leave and openeing for an opponent" He ducked in and under pushing her other arm out of the way and halting his own punch inches from her face. He then quickly backed off out of sword range and bowed "Thus concludes todays lesson"

That made abby mad. "Are you mocking me! Telling me I can't fight!" She pointed the sword towards him. "I'd leave before I conclude you as a vampire and kill you!" Noticing the boy was refusing to budge she attacked him again. This time she had the sword go through his coat but she missed his shoulder completley. How can he move so fast?

[Mr. Lock]

"Well that was certainly a close one" He said pointing to the hole "you owe me a new jacket now you know"
She attacked him again, this time he only just managed to sidestep the slash that would have left him headless
this is getting me no where
He drew his gun and aimed it at her "If you try to kill me again I will have to shoot" she paused as he leveled the weapon at her head "I only want to talk" he said calmly "and Im not a vampire. Look me in the eye and say Im lying"

She spits in his face. "Your lying. The vampires always have red eyes!" she snapped. "So kill me since I can't kill you!"

[Mr. Lock]

"This is because i have red eyes?" he saied as he wiped the spit off his face
"Sheesh, you over react a little dont you. And dont worry, Im not going to kill you"

"I don't overreact! My family was killed by you blood sucking freaks!" Abby looked at him angrily tears now streaming down her face.

[Mr. Lock]

"I figured something traumatic like that, you have eyes like I used to. Empty." he sighed and put away his gun "red eyes are not just a vampire trait, even normal humans can have them. You have my condolences for what happened to your family"
he turned his back and walked away "I hope you find the vengance your looking for, and i hope it fixes something. Because if it dosnt the emptyness you have afterwards isnt worth a damn"

Abby just sat there in shock watching the boy walk away. She did'nt know what to do. So she just let him wal away. Abby almost changed her mind and called out to the boy but before she could something had grabbed her from behind. She was thrown across the woods. She quickly scrambled to her feet to see a vampire hissing at her. She grabbed for her sword but when it was'nt there she realized it was still laying on the ground. She'd have to save herself with her own bare hands. The vampire lunged at her taking her down and biting into her neck.

[Mr. Lock]

Lock let out a roar, partly to distract the vampire and partly to let the girl know he was coming.
He knew bullets would be useless so he drew a knife and charged, the vampire lossend its grip, unsure which opponent to kill first, Abby took advantage of this and kicked it off. Lock stood on both its arms and plunged the knife into its heart

The vampire screamed in rage but turned into dust. Abby had quickly pulled out a wooden stake and had plunged that into it's heart too. he then fell to the ground again dizzily. Blood trickled down her neck. She was turning into the monster and there was no way of stopping it unless she was killed. Once bitten you turned. "Oh no..." she whispered.

[Mr. Lock]

Lock could see that she had been bitten "Im sorry, but at least now you will learn that not all vampires are evil, just most of them" She just looked at him with blank shock "Let me put it this way, ever wondered why that a stab to the heart kills a vampire? It because thats all thats left of their humanity. Think of vamparism like a virus, its infects you and changes you, but your heart is too strong for it and stays human, it is usually corrupted, but human non the less. Now if your heart is particularly strong, you keep your morals, beliefs and all that. You are a far cry from human but definatly not evil" He caught her as she slipped into unconciouness "Hang in there kiddo, your heart is strong"

Abby woke up in a lot of pain, she slid her tongue acrossed her teeth and gasped. Instead of her teeth there were very sharp fangs. "Oh no," she whispered. She looked around at her surroundings she realized she was in a small hut. Everything that had happened had come flooding back to her memory. She looked up to see the boy enter the small hut.
