Ash had made it all the way back to Alaska from Italy in a week. He stood in a small village watching the people work and cut trees in the woods. This was the same village the love his life had died in. He was totally surprised to see that the village was still pure and standing after billions of years. He watched as the snow came tumbling down from the sky, people stared at him as if he was crazy. All Ash had on was a jeans and t-shirt. That only made him smile. Being a lycan had its advantages cold didnt bother him. He looked down to see a girl maybe around 15 or 16 near the frozen lake. Is'nt that dangerous? he thought. He kept a close eye on the girl.

Jackie was staring at the the icey lake curious about what may be under it. Usually the villagers fished in this lake and everyone couldn't break through the ice this year to get food so they had to rely on other villages. She sighed and stepped onto the frozen lake feeling it crack a bit.
Huh? That's wierd they said the ice wasn't breaking so why was it falling under pressure from a 115 pound girl? Jackie gasped as the ice cracked some more before she could move to the bank of the lake she completely fell through the icy water engulfing her. Her head smacked on the back of a hard block of ice. She was able to scream out before she went under the water, but like that would help her, no one was hardly out today.

Ash saw the whole thing happne. He screamed out to the girl but he guessed she didn't hear him. "Damn," he mumbled.
He quickly ran through the trees and down the slope towards the lake. He had to shift into his wolf form to make it to her in time. Ash hoped nobody saw his true form. But then again everyone was inside trying to stay warm. Once he reached the bank of the lake he phased into human form and jumped into the water grabbing the girl by her arms. She was unconciouss so the dead weight almost dragged him to the bottom of the lake as well. He used all his power to carry her to the surface and pull her out of the water. Once he got her away from the lake he started to perfrom CPR. Blood gushed from the back of her head.
The girl finally woke up coughing and gasping for air. "Are you crazy!" he growled. "The ice isn't safe? Can you hear me?" he snapped his fingers in front of the girl's face till he caught her attention she was still coughing up water and rubbed the back of her head.

"Is it bad?" Jackie mumbled, her eyes widening when she saw blood all over her hands.
She watched as the boy ripped his shirt off and put the shirt to the back of her head. She realized he was only wearing a short-sleeved shirt and now he was bare-chested. What the hell? this was Alaska! He would die faster than her!
"What... why are you only wearing a short-sleaved shirt!" she shrieked.

Ash silently laughed. "Does it really matter what I'm wearing? What's important is making sure your okay," Ash whispered. Ash sat there in the snow for about ten minutes tending to her injuries. The girl was silent the whole time but scared of the blood on her hands. He wiped her hands with a clean piece of cloth from his shirt. "Sorry I can't clean your hands better, but I'd rather not use freezing cold water," he whispered starting to actually feel cold in this kind of weather for once.
