Emma was annoyed and knew it was helpless but it was better if she just died and not both of them. At least Leo could get away.

Emma was unable to hear her for she was in utter blackness trying her hardest to heal herself. But she knew if she was concious she'd probably hit Leo.

she continues to go along until they were out of range of fire. There she paused "well you aren't going to be much help now are you?" she asks talking more to herself then Emma knowing she more then likely couldn't hear her
